Pros

It all seemed great at first. Leadership seems friendly and charming, with a "we're all a happy family here!" vibe, as abusive work cultures often do. There are a few genuinely wonderful, talented, and competent people who work here.

Cons

Look at the company values, and imagine the exact OPPOSITE of what's stated. The CEO/founder is running a company providing services he has extremely little experience or practical knowledge of how to execute on or manage, especially in technical areas, and is so insecure he can't even listen to the people who do without melting down. Hence the high turnover, impulsive rage firings, and constant chaos. That top-down incompetence affects everything and creates a toxic culture. It's funny to see even the people giving positive reviews (lol, did the management team write these?) being like "oh sometimes workload is unpredictable, I have no work-life balance and my pay is insulting, but that's agency life amiright?! At least it's remote and my coworkers are nice!" Folks – that is the direct responsibility of management to handle, not some inevitable problem and abuse you just have to accept as normal. It's clear a lot of you came straight out of academia, don't have a lot of industry work experience, and they are taking advantage of that naivety. Seriously, just stay away if you have any respect for yourself or your career. Or at the very least, use this place as a stepping stone if you're really desperate to break out of academia and into marketing, then move on quickly.

Pros

There was an option to work remotely, and some team members were genuinely great to work with.

Cons

The culture was toxic, with employees being let go without clear reasons. There was no real support for improvement, as guidance or proper feedback was often missing. Favoritism was a problem, with some staying on board despite poor performance. The company lacked diversity, and there seemed to be no effort to change that. HR was led by the CEO's spouse, creating a conflict of interest.
