Pros
Samtec provides a relatively laid-back, comfortable environment to work in. As an engineering co-op, you have an opportunity to gradually gain more and more responsibilities through projects as you go. Your first rotation will be spent getting to know the company structure and day to day operations while also taking on at least one major project with the guidance of your supervisor. During your next rotations you are expected to take some responsibility for your own projects and work with the members of your hub. This allows you to feel like you have accomplished something before your time is up.
Cons
During the first few weeks as a co-op it can seem a little overwhelming. Part of that is due to Samtec's culture but it can also be somewhat intimidating. Never be afraid to ask questions.
