Pros

- They're the only real players solving a very real challenge for everyone in schools - Young team who feel very close to each other. People stay there because their friends are there - Decent office

Cons

- Sub-industry salary (especially for junior team members who don't know any better) - CEO is an ex deputy head, and you can completely tell. He runs the place like a school. Literally has a register to check people are in on time. As a personality he is unpredictable, immature and aggressive. As a leader he's suffering from founders syndrome and finds things hard to let go of - Product strategy is haphazard - have diversified too early into Tutoring, but more bizarrely into something called FrontRow which seems to be trying to be a new youtube for schools - Sales leaders are like desperate car salesmen. They panic when their teams aren't making targets but don't give them proper support or training to improve. Sadly refer to team members as B and C team players. But if that's the case, you get what you pay for - Unable to keep senior team members - CTO, CMO, Head of Growth & Customer Success all left after challenging the CEO - Expansion into US was planned but they've partnered with a local hardware company. Have absolutely zero chance of winning a much more competitive market

Thanks for this feedback, and sorry we could not resolve some of these before you left. Like any start up we are learning as we go and our focus now is to listen to our employees. We recognise how hard they work and how valuable they are, and we have put in the means to measure engagement and accept feedback from everybody. Our senior team has grown over the last year and are focusing on growing employee satisfaction and engagement. We take your feedback on board and are actively working on everything here. I think if you speak to employees today they will tell you a different story.

Pros

Pay is decent. Benefits are okay.

Cons

While the pay is decent, the culture leaves a lot to be desired. It's a high-stress environment with little recognition for the effort many put in, and some employees are treated very poorly. Raising concerns to management has resulted in termination for a couple. If you're in a position where you need to make money quickly and can overlook the way some of your peers are treated, you might get by here. But, if you’re looking for long-term growth, respect, and a healthy workplace culture, I’d look elsewhere.
