Pros
Lots of growth potential, small team
Cons
Management is extremely stifling. Employee's are regularly told that the brutal schedule and long hours are all part of the startup environment however the company's German parent (about 400 people) regularly shackles employees to processes that are only half deployed rather then let employees do their own jobs (e.g. The job just be done THIS way but that way doesn't work because the software isn't deployed in the USA yet, so you're stuck). This creates needless barriers and confusion which gets in the way of company success. The CEO of the north american branch does not have a strong understanding of how to support the employees in their day to day functions, leaving me feeling like I don't have the tools or mentorship required to succeed. Near constant turnover for senior level management positions has not helped. Working here has left me burned out inside of two years. It feels like fighting a forest fire with a garden hose.
