Pros

Great...Great downtown location! Walking distance to Millennium Park

Cons

HIGH TURNOVER!!! Very "cliq-ish". High risk with minimal reward. Whether you go to Customer sales or Carrier sales, they will work you to oblivion. The expectation is that once your 3 week training is done, that you hit your numbers right away, otherwise they will terminate you. I will only recommend this career choice if you already have a book of business or if you have potential clients lined up.

Pros

Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

Cons

$12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
