Present companywide I saw a lack of transparency, integrity, and general consideration for employees, specifically in career development. During my time at Seamless.AI I witnessed a culture of fear develop, which significantly impacted overall employee morale, productivity, and job satisfaction. Speaking specifically to transparency, I saw instances where lack of communication led to misunderstandings and missed opportunities. This caused a breakdown in trust between employees and management, which impacted the company significantly. This effectively eliminated any incentive and moral obligation employees felt to be productive and add value with their individual contribution. Speaking specifically to integrity, the company consistently failed to keep employees informed about important decisions, policies, and directional changes. These are basic obligations of management in any industry for any career position. I think it’s reasonable to expect and feel entitled to this basic need as an employee. The absence of this contributed to the culture of fear and uncertainty. A perfect example of this culture is the fact that I didn’t feel comfortable exploring internal channels to voice my dissatisfaction and concerns. The company had no consideration for the employee experience, and I was confident that being forthcoming would lead to negative repercussions. Supporting this fear were past instances where I’d been blindsided and lied to in a complete disregard for my wellbeing. These instances led to feeling frustrated, demoralized, and disrespected. Speaking specifically to career development, there was a significant lack of opportunity for growth. The absence of variation in opportunities offered made it difficult to significantly advance individual skills. In this industry, much of the most valuable experience and growth comes from being challenged on the job in real time.

Pros

- can be a fun work environment with good peers that are other sdrs - learned how to talk on phone

Cons

- stresssful work environment - fires all of their sdrs or lays them off - terrible higher management above the SDR managers - terrible data and expects sdrs to figure it out - gives no help above upper management - ceo and upper management post “don’t lay off employees that don’t produce, the churn and burn doesn’t work” yet THEY CHURN AND BURN. They don’t even know what’s going on in their own company. - constant stress about getting fired the next month - a lot of threats about getting fired
