Pros
- Good for entry-level sales - Pre-written sales script
Cons
This company has shown time and time again that they do NOT care about their SDRs. Their whole approach is to churn and burn their sales team. They put SDRs on high quotas that are rarely achieved (if not achieved you are likely fired or have benefits FORFEITED). As an SDR you only get credited when a prospect shows up to the meeting that you booked. Revenue generated / quality meetings plays no factor into your performance. This just promotes booking less quality meetings and this created a disconnect within the sales team. SDRs will send a meeting to an AE, an AE will run the meeting, then message the SDR that his meeting is no good, and will then disqualify the meeting. SDRs are constantly defending themselves and their complains fall on deaf ears. If you do happen to hear back from upper management it is a month later and they simply do not care about your opinions / concerns / questions. I also never felt so micro managed in my entire life. An SDR is required to be in a google meet the entire day with camera on and off mute. In this role an SDR will make 500+ calls daily. Hearing feedback on every single cold call is exhausting especially when you are ahead of pace or at quota. I also personally hated that the CEO / Upper Management/ HR would message us personally to leave good ratings on the CEOs new book. HR and the CEO also had an incentive for current employees to leave positive Glassdoor reviews which seems shady. I was not at Seamless.AI very long but long enough to know that this companies values and morales to not line up with mine. I would take the positive reviews with a grain of salt, especially newer ones.
