Can listen to music. Get your own cubicle. Office experience to put on your resume.
Cons
They don't follow their own policies. As soon as they put an eye on you, there's a target on you. I've seen people be fired while providing a doctor's note. They take full advantage of the 'right to work' law in VA. It doesn't matter what minuscule infraction you may or even may not have done, they will fire you simply because they feel like it. Management feeds off of drama and causes over half of it. They will mass email one mistake and use it to talk down to every employee in the company, all while putting a spot light on someone's error. Many of their ways of operating are illegal and bank on the fact that they do not pay their employees enough to get a lawyer. Favoritism is the crappiest downfall and you will be bullied if someone higher up just doesn't like you. I've seen them stand behind someone who is working and trash talk them in third person, just daring them to stand up for themselves and 'cause a problem'. Upper management is all family and close friends. Doesn't matter if they are not a good addition to the company, bullies, or are even incompetent. CEO's have obvious marriage problems that gets dragged onto the work floor. They bring in dogs that use the restroom on the office floor. The owners of the building have told them to cut it out but they don't even listen. I've seen team leads sit at their desk crying because of the cruel emails they receive from upper management. Overtime is just mandatory flat out. It doesn't matter if the workload is caught up and clients are sitting happily, they will make you come in on the weekend, holiday and bad weather when plows haven't been sent out yet, all because they have the power to say so. And the 'benefits' are unaffordable and are offered through someone in upper managements own family.
