Pros
PTO, discounts, advancement (if you are lucky)
Cons
Stress and insane workload. I have held 4 positions in the last 4 years. I started as an SCR and it was great at first. I was promoted to a team coordinator at the call center and leadership was shady. They put me out and created a hostile environment. Eventually they left/were let go. I was out in a TL position and it was insane how much was expected. I had my team change completely 3 times in me. I sometimes had to work 12 hour days and even take PTO to get my work done. Operations refused to listen to opinions. Teams grew as high as 22 agents to 1 TL. I went to the training department and at first it was great. Then operations began to change things in our department. They tried to give 100 people to train remotely for 1 class. Classes are suppose to be 20 max. In the end i got 50. Don’t even get me started on IT issues for these new hires. Some end up having to be moved to a later class. This company has a hire turn over rate thanks to operations. Pay is not high enough for everything Sedgwick employees have to put up with. This company says caring counts is their motto, but it does not apply to its own employees. For a claims management company, they also do a horrible job at managing their claims and have disappointing STD benefits.
