Pros

*Management & Team truly care about their employees *We work hard to be the best (not necessarily the biggest) *HUGE emphasis on Customer Support & doing the right thing *All team members help one another and lift each other up (no competition or secrecy behind deals or agendas) *Complete trust and accountability *Encouraged to run with a plan or idea you have - with full support whether you succeed or fail

Cons

*The only downside is most people work remote. While this is a huge advantage for those of us with families and small children (who yes, have lives outside of work!), I do miss the camaraderie you get in an office and seeing people every day. However, the Management Team is doing a better job of creating face-to-face interaction several times a year

Pros

Everything at Select begins with people. What do our people need? What do our customer's people need? How can we serve people better? Our advisors spend hours toiling over white papers, statistics and data looking for partners that consistently exceed expectations. They are constantly looking around the corner at what is coming next. They dedicate their time looking forward so their customers can focus on what they do best. Our customer support team is dedicated to excellence. They proactively solve problems as a partner to our customers. They work together on projects as if they were an extension of the customer's own staff. Or teams are empowered to work from home offices with all the resources they need to be effective. While we meet regularly we do it using the same technology we offer to customers. Full time staff enjoy competitive wages, frequent raises and uncapped paid time off. The leadership team puts family first and encourages the rest of the team to do the same. We work together and support one another with projects and long term goals. Annually we connect as a work family for a kick off to the new year. We spend that time celebrating the previous year's successes and plotting the course for the future. Our targets and goals are transparent and we all work together to accomplish them.

Cons

It can be challenging to work independently from remote offices. Sometimes you can feel disconnected. It takes some adjusting if you are used to a "water cooler" setting.
