Pros
None are left, things seem to be coming apart week by week.
Cons
The pay and benefits have always been below industry average. The stability this job provided once has been lost with the downturn from NEM 3.0, branches are closed without warning and layoff keep picking the teams apart. Management keeps telling us that things have stabilized and then more staff gets let go every week or two. The people I know that go let go say that it was abrupt and with no explanation, just a random extra check and an email. Some were left stranded when they showed up to work with their company truck, expected to get an Uber on their own dime to take their tools back. Yearly performance reviews, and the raises that come with them, are delayed for 2-10 months in some cases. Most of my friends that were waiting about 6 months for their raise ended up getting let go.
