Pros

It’s a great place if you're driven and want to actually see the impact of your contributions. The work done is pretty unique in the engineering world, so you never get bored. There is a huge variety of projects in terms of scale and location, ranging from local jobs to global ones.

Cons

The workload moves fast and requires you to stay organized. Fortunately, the team is very supportive, especially during the initial ramp-up period.

Pros

I worked at this company a while ago.

Cons

The actual size of the firm was much smaller than how it appeared on social media, and there was a very high turnover rate. The structural engineering work was highly centralized around one person, and most engineers worked individually. I rarely experienced teamwork during my time there. I personally do not consider learning much in structural engineering and design during the time I spent there. The schedule was flexible, but unpaid overtime was very common. Meetings were often scheduled late in the day — sometimes even starting at 5 PM — and despite the long hours, we were expected to show up early the next day as usual. Putting in extra unpaid hours became the norm, even though the pay was already substantially below the market rate. Weekly meetings always included long speeches about how the company was “different” and how we all needed to work harder to help it grow — again, with no additional compensation. Overall, I had a negative experience there.
