Pros
great product (!), great people, flexibility, ownership, big focus on customer feedback, very international, excellent software engineers, great vision on the tech stack (which makes the company very agile and future-ready IMO), ambitious, lots of former strategy consultants in management who know what they are doing and how to communicate, especially the Utrecht office is a place you enjoy spending time in, no micro-management, working abroad, bring your dog, great coffee, table tennis, many opportunities for learning, in-house trainings, high quality standards in so many ways, useful tooling, appropriate amount of administration (and no more than that), very data-driven, openness, transparency, be as you are, in product and tech they are very critical with hiring, helpful colleagues, there is always snacks and drinks, quarterly events for the whole organisation, everyone is working for Sensorfact directly (no inhuur or ZZP)
Cons
too little focus on technical knowledge outside of the IT department (onboarding, consulting, sales), sales is the complete opposite of the entire rest of the company: frequent yelling, looking down on other teams, targets are everything (“eat the sandwich behind the desk” when goals are not reached, little talking to other departments because that’s time not spent calling), with high ambitions comes high expectations, selling a highly scalable product while wanting to tailor solutions is tricky, too much focus on strategy consulting in hiring managers rather than people skills or technical/product background, very young age of colleagues
