Pros
You are working with persons who have Acquired Brain Injuries (ABI), which is rewarding, as you help each (those who are "help-able") relearn skills they had before the brain injury. It takes patience sometimes, but overall, you can see the progress in some of them. Very rewarding to be someone who brought others back to their normal lives after they had suffered horrible life-changing circumstances.
Cons
Too much paperwork to do each day, for no particular reason; they do not warn you upon agreeing to the job that the physical requirements are excessive (lifting 50+ pounds, which is not usually an issue, but when it causes an injury to you as an employee, they will not accept responsibility -- they will say that it was a "pre-existing injury," even though you had been doing your job just fine, until that day of the injury). "Let's avoid liability, at all costs, even if it costs someone his/her job," is the company philosophy.
