Pros
- The company culture is amazing. Every department bonds together and works towards company goals, overcome challenges, or any other roadblocks.
- Company is growing at a rapid rate in terms of team members and senior employees are staying! I would say churn rate is low especially within supply chain industry
- Benefits have been improving every year. We now have matching 401K, 8 weeks maternity leave, Medical, Vision, Dental, disability, life, PTO, Sick days, and etc I can't remember everything
- We're 100% fully remote and if you want access to wework to meet local team members or just work a few days out of the week they will reimburse you for it.
- Company events, even though we're remote we will host virtual events, cooking, planting, escape rooms, and in person company retreats (though this has been delayed a few times due to COVID)
- Similar to culture but I wanted to highlight the attitude and personality of majority if not all the team members are just amazing. Doesn't matter what background you have who you are the team is all very welcoming.
- Potential for growth is truly there. Multiple team members have been promoted from within and hard work really does pay off here!
- Hustle mind set for sure. This could be good or bad depending on your attitude. Working hard building something impactful to the world makes me happy.
Cons
- Work life balance isn't always there. This is still considered an early stage start up at the time of this review with a recent Series A funding. It’s all about scaling now and often we're working with strict deadlines or high expectations. A few management team members (depending on your department) often work late into the night but the people you work with makes this more bearable.
- Communication with executives can be improved. There are side conversations that happens which can prevent some items from moving forward or leaving some team members confused on the next steps. This doesn't usually cause any big issues just often requires double checking.
- Less important projects but still crucial often gets left unassigned and untouched. Often request from departments gets delayed or forgotten about. Again, this is because each department is very busy working on high ticketed items and why we're constantly hiring.
- Some people get stretched across multiple departments, but I guess this depends on your role.
