Ok - Sales Associate Shoot Point Blank Employee Review

Great Place to Work! Highly recommend!

Pay could be better, but not awful.

Free range time. Get to meet some cool customers. You get to see and mess with some of the newest firearms that come out.

Oh where do I begin? Well, when I first started at point blank it was a cool place to work. We sold guns and had fun. Now, evidently since the name change to “shoot point blank” and the recent redirection with the company you are expected to meet ridiculously high sales quotas and if you are in the range as an RSO you are going to be in there for a minimum of 4 hours at a time. You will get lucky if you are relieved to go to the bathroom during that time. The turnover rate is SUPER high at this place for both sales associates and management. Suggestions to improve the store are not valued because it has to be approved by the almighty corporate office. If you want the job because you really want that employee discount, keep looking. I bought a glock with my “employee discount” only to find out a couple weeks later that it was a couple dollars MORE during a glock sale that we had going on. So much for a discount. Lol. There were rumors that corporate was going to increase the $9.00 an hour pay rate which ended up to be false. Too many negatives to talk about which led to me looking for another job after having been there for almost 2 years.
