Pros

Convenient to Union Station and OTC Pleasant office atmosphere (cubicles or open floor plan, unless upper mgmt) Decent pay/benefits: health insurance not the best but in line with similar sized companies. Has improved somewhat over prior years. Team outings, happy hours, free snacks and coffee/tea Some people are VERY nice and friendly, like in any office.

Cons

For a "tech" company, it doesn’t seem edgy, or very modern, for that matter. Very bureaucratic, old boys' club feel like other reviewers mentioned. Lots of cliques. The C-Suite doesn't support telecommuting for those who work in the corporate office. They favor the butt-in-the-seat-working-longer mentality over the more modern "work smarter not longer" philosophy. Since this comes from the top, it's unlikely to change. Some dept managers do support it but the policy is not applied fairly. Depending on the area you work in, advancement opportunities are lacking. Not much in the way of mentoring and career guidance, either. You will have to seek it out, it’s not on the minds of most of the managers. Training is disorganized and spotty. Onboarding was non existent in my case. It took a good couple of weeks to get proper software, logins and equipment. Mostly depends on who you report to. However, it seems like the company should step it up as they are growing and hiring more people all the time. There should at least be a checklist and a process for onboarding new hires. Pay is in market range to start but increases are modest. Overall, ShowingTime is not a terrible place to work. It's probably even a great place for some. I'm neutral, mainly for the lack of advancement opportunities and the resistance to telecommuting.

Pros

Great co-workers who where willing to help

Cons

Promised that there would be 50% inbound leads. There was 5%. Very difficult to get list of people to call for outbound prospecting. Less than half of the team was hitting their quota. And there was too many salespeople. Not a chance to make a living. And by the way if you don't hit your quota under these unreasonable circumstances, you will get fired.
