Pros
Some of the people I met along the way are great. The global nature of the business does allow for exposure to different teams and ideas.
Cons
There are not enough characters to describe how horrible the London office is. Morale is at an all-time low, the work is uninspiring, and people are leaving by the dozen. Leadership has little to no relevant skills and has not been replaced in years. Partners/directors of certain teams couldn’t win quality work if their lives depended on it. There are no development pathways and you are usually staffed on whatever was desperately won. In the last 8 months alone there have been 2 rounds of layoffs, they are halving the London office space, and nothing constructive is being done to turn things around. They keep blaming it on the market alone but most issues here have been present for years. The business has no direction. Racism claims aren’t taken seriously and HR herself is known to be the worst person in the hub, making multiple people cry during my time here. They largely hire from elite schools but have nothing to back it with, leaving most employees unhappy. When you search the company up on LinkedIn it seems like everything is great but it couldn’t be further from the truth, in the UK at least. Avoid if you can by any means!
