Pros
A small company that has the ability to grow mostly in the institutional market; some employees are respectful and helpful fostering team work; opportunities to learn various functions and positions within the firm for financial industry education. Most of the customers and associates are great interesting characters.
Cons
A small firm with limited career opportunities to move up in position. Middle and upper management have grown up professionally over decades in the company and display narrow leadership character skills. They have an inability to communicate and connect genuinely with employees to foster camaraderie and solve problems, without stress and tension. Some display adolescent social character sets, which may result in their weak social management skills and biased and uninsightful perspectives to solve social and work place issues. The firm is losing ground competitively by its inability to adapt to the changing & challenging financial market place, and lacking creative and intelligent leadership in management.
