Leadership lacks transparency! Relevant and important information is often kept secret and consistently on a "need-to-know basis," which makes leadership seem dishonest and insincere. There's a lack of transparency on the company's direction and a growing culture of fear that has been reported multiple times. Basically, the environment is "you're here to do a job; we pay better than most startups, so do your job and don't ask questions." You're a cog in the machine, not a team member. And you'll be constantly bombarded with "investor talk" during all-hands (God they even use the same slides). Sigma used to be a great place to work, but now it's transitioning to a corporate culture without building trust with its employees.
