Pros

There are two long tenured employees in the Plano office that are great to work with, very helpful and very knowledgeable.

Cons

-Query for previous employees on linkedin and you will see a long standing pattern of quick turnover, many with less than a year of employment. -Development goals shift constantly. Coordination of development is difficult due to development staff being located in a foreign country in a drastically different time zone. -Senior management treats employees with outright disrespect and contempt. During group meetings employees are openly criticized and run down. Intelligence and capability is not recognized or developed, but met with resistance. -Employees are expected to devote a stiffling number of hours towards work. Personal time will become nearly non-existent. -Office conditions are poor, from dilapidated furniture to unreasonably old consumer grade laptops. Company infrastructure struggles due to lack of planning and reasonable budget. -Customers don’t appear to be satisfied with the service they are paying for, which is a result of the above statements.

SigmaFlow Response

Well, SigmaFlow is under new management so I believe you would feel much better about your job if you were still working with us! This company has really turned itself with our new CEO. The company is positioned to scale and all the employees are very smart and have great attitudes. The new office space is fantastic, with big windows and lots of sunshine! This company now places customer satisfaction first -- where it should be.

Pros

SigmaFlow has a true 'Startup' feel, fast-paced environment where you are required to wear multiple hats.

Cons

Employees not accustomed to working in small-PE backed startups will find this environment hard to get along with.

Pros

I started at SigmaFlow in July of 2013, under a new management team. Teakwood Capital bought the company in December 2012 and things started changing fast. The new CEO who started in June 2013, brought over a team of people from a previous company to help accelerate SigmaFlow's growth. We have two different solutions that are built on the same basic platform, one solution for upstream oil & gas process management and other for NERC CIP & 693 Compliance. Coworkers are smart, fun, hard working and everyone pulls their weight. The company values their customers and is always fine tuning processes to support our rapidly growing customer base. This company has an excellent future --- GODSPEED!
