Pros
The company always gives me challenging tasks and interesting projects. I have successfully transited my career from traditional graphic design to UI/UX design role. A lot of learning opportunities and regular coaching culture by seniors help me see where I see myself in the short-term and long-term. The work environment is flexible and focused. The team is currently a mixture of on-site members and remote members. I haven't experienced any inconvenience as a remote worker living in a different province with a well-prepared system and tools. Simalam has a cool profit sharing, and benefits depend on contributions and years of service. It feels good that the team knows my effort and compensates accordingly.
Cons
You would have to enjoy being out of your comfort zone and proactive. Even juniors can get involved in the big tasks if they desire. It is not stress-free, but you can grow with real-world projects.
