Pros

The pros are definitely the pay. The starting rate is decent for entry level. The benefits are ok. I would say vision and dental are the best. Also, there are some associates who are nice and knowledgeable.

Cons

This company does not care about its employees!! Most departments want to use you as much as they can without pay increase or promotion. Motivated, knowledgeable, hard working associates, who work their butts off, are passed up or overlooked for promotions because upper management would rather give positions to their friends. If you're looking for a "in the meantime" job this may be the place for you. Probably should go somewhere else if you're looking to make a career out of it. Almost every department is understaffed and over worked so prepare do be stressed out. This bank is also behind the times. Online Banking is primitive and the system is always going down. There's zero percent training manuals so you basically have to take someone's word that you're being taught right. There's a lack of communication between departments. One day we're doing it this way and the next we're doing it completely different. Also, supervisors who stand behind and support their associates are rare. Leadership is weak and morale is low.

Pros

Small enough company that you can talk to leadership and voices matter. Culture used to be great. Lots of middle management understands the obstacles employees face and fights for the better.

Cons

The entire company is centered around Arkansas/Little Rock/Pine Bluff. There are other markets with massive opportunity that are always getting ignored. Everything is looked at through the lens of how things are done, ran, budgeted, ect in LR. Lots of recent change has caused a lot of bankers to leave and start looking for jobs elsewhere because they’re tired of lack of leadership.
