Pros

Simmon Bank, #1 most TOXIC work culture in Arkansas. Lucky for women it's not 1950 anymore anywhere else.

Cons

management is insecure and sexist. They made obscene discriminatory statements regularly. I was subject to daily narcissistic abuse and completely ignored for expecting common decency and humane respect as a woman. When I say ignored I literally mean people walking away while I'm speaking to them 1:1 and keeping their doors shut 24x7 to make collaboration with my direct manager impossible. Look up narricistic abuse in the workplace and be educated because it starts with love bombing before they segregate you and make you question your own intelligence, memory, and abilities. People witnessed me love bombed, and later yelled at and inaccurately accused to save the skins of management who did not know how to carry themselves or take responsibility for their own actions. If you're a woman, you deserve so much more. You'll spend your career coaxing an insecure man's ego and sucking up to women who won't stand up against them. It's not worth it, and you can't change them so just run. If you already took the job, keep your mouth shut and turn 100% effort to resumes and job hunt.

Pros

Small enough company that you can talk to leadership and voices matter. Culture used to be great. Lots of middle management understands the obstacles employees face and fights for the better.

Cons

The entire company is centered around Arkansas/Little Rock/Pine Bluff. There are other markets with massive opportunity that are always getting ignored. Everything is looked at through the lens of how things are done, ran, budgeted, ect in LR. Lots of recent change has caused a lot of bankers to leave and start looking for jobs elsewhere because they’re tired of lack of leadership.
