Pros
The only real pro there ever was at Simple Global was the ability to have flexible hours and work from home. They took this ability away from employees (though upper management all primarily works from home) so I can't think of any pros for working at Simple Global.
Cons
The company is going under. They cannot pay their bills and do not always pay their employees. The company has several pending lawsuits against them as well as DOL and IRS investigations. Upper leadership is highly unprofessional and will emotionally manipulate employees into lying to clients. IT is poorly managed and is far, far below industry standard. HR is known for making up new policies as they go along and demanding employees follow these policies. When an employee asks for documentation of the policy they are told "it is not HR's job to provide documentation, the employee is responsible for providing evidence of their claims." HR staff is extremely disrespectful to employees and even bragged that "every person they have fired was unable to file for unemployment even if they deserved it." The accounting team is incapable of processing invoices or otherwise doing accounting work, as a result other employees are bullied into processing invoices. 100% of invoices are incorrect. Rates and billing templates have not been updated and are incorrect as well. When employees bring up legitimate concerns they are bullied into silence or fired.
