Initial communication was positive and encouraging. Interviewers were polite at the beginning of the process. Scheduling flexibility was offered after the first technical issue.

Unclear and inconsistent communication after rescheduling. No new meeting link or proper follow-up provided. Emphasis appeared to be on equipment quality and presentation rather than actual skills. No constructive feedback or proper closure was given after rejection. Process felt insincere — flattery upfront, lack of accountability at the end.

Red flag revealed early, Clearer standards for the future.

I was scheduled for a final interview and showed up on time, prepared, and eager to make a good impression. I waited in the designated Zoom meeting room via the Gmail invite, but no one ever showed up. I waited patiently, thinking maybe they were just running late — but after waiting far longer than expected, it became clear that no one was coming. I didn’t receive any notice, reschedule, or explanation. No email. No message. Nothing. This experience was incredibly frustrating. I took the interview seriously, prepared thoroughly, and arranged my day around it. To not even receive the courtesy of a cancellation or follow-up felt extremely unprofessional and disrespectful of my time. I understand things happen — people get busy, emergencies come up — but basic communication should never be optional, especially when someone is trusting your company enough to show up and give their time and effort. This left a very negative impression and made me question how candidates — and potentially even employees — are treated. I expected better.
