Pros

Not the worst company. But a long way from good Australian employers that support their employees and enable the best outcomes and delivery from their teams. > Some nice people > Free snacks in the office I guess > 1-2 day hybrid model is nice, flexible to work from home, then everyone comes together to collab on Thursdays > Pace is kinda slow (not enough engineers or design resources to make the pace of delivery significant) - which can be a pro or a con depending on what you are after. If you're after a non-stressful gig and you're good at your tech role then it'll be pretty cruisy for you so you can deliver what's expected and then not have to stress too much. For people who need a faster pace, you will get frustrated.

Cons

> Really weird contract conditions that I'd recommend you have a lawyer read over before you sign your offer > Substandard policies compared to similar AU tech companies for benefits (remote, bonus, parental leave) > Meaningless bonus that doesn't pay out - you'll be quoted a number in your offer. But it's actually shadow shares. The shares don't exist unless you met the condition of staying at the company for x period of time. Ultimately it's a psychological trick to make you consider staying long enough for those fake shares to turn into real shares... but if you do the numbers over the long term you're potentially better off ignoring and then leveraging your experience after 2-3 years to land a larger package somewhere else. As the price for loyalty doesn't bare out > Slow pace won't be good for your career long-term. Most smart people seem to leave
