Pros
Just a basic standard high salary company
Cons
Don't let the salary fool you. It's only competitive because of government incentives. The workload is excessive, especially for junior engineers. Expect late nights, weekends, and projects that never seem to end because deadlines keep getting moved.
Hard work doesn't necessarily lead to recognition or better compensation. I gave everything I had and still didn't receive a raise or even meaningful appreciation.
Favoritism is a real issue. Your experience depends almost entirely on your manager, and if you get a bad one, there's practically no way to provide honest feedback without risking yourself. The expectation is simply to accept it and move on.
For an Engineer 1, the expectations are far beyond what the role and pay progression should be. Great place if you only care about the initial salary, but not if you value work-life balance, career development, or a healthy management culture.
