Pros

None whatsoever - shocking company

Cons

As the youngest member working in the head office, I was constantly bullied - lost count the amount of times I went home crying from being emotionally exhausted. Also told that I could be out of a job as long as they got a coffee maker. Worked there 1 day under a year and got sacked and when I called citizens advice I was told this had been pre arranged as once you have worked a full year you start getting rights etc. Was made to wrap the director’s Christmas presents. Depressing atmosphere in the whole company due to family problems between the management/directors. Always said they were Glasgow born and bred but think being directors got to their head and blew their ego right up

Pros

I have not long started back with the company but enjoying it so far, second time round - I have worked here before and as many in the Wind industry will know many of us get plenty of opportunities to move about but sometimes the work isn't quite as promised. Very pleased to be back with a good bunch of techs and a decent manager and pleased to be welcomed back after such a long time away.

Cons

There is always a lot of travelling and time away from home in this job but if you are used to it you can use it as an opportunity to see different places and meet new people.

Pros

There is a strong core of long term employees with lots of experience and knowledge. There are opportunities for progression since there is internal promotion. You are in charge of your own workload so you won't be micromanaged. A diverse bunch of co-workers so you're guaranteed to find pals and have a few laughs each day. People who leave seem to have a habit of returning to the company.

Cons

You will have to be an all-rounder and willing to take on a wide range of responsibilities. 8am starts are not so great when you're a night owl.
