Pros

Nothing, Im quite sure its a Pyramid Scheme.

Cons

They lie from the momment of the interview all throughout the time you work there. Pay is 100% comission, and the average sales per person of the office was around $400 a week, so pay is very poor and inconsistent. They try to promote a cool office atmoshphere but the office culture is very innapropriate. They made us wear a suit to the office, just to change into shorts / jeans and a verizon tshirt. Its not a real job, all you do is go door to door in some of the worst neighborhoods of Philadelphia to try to sell internet/cable/phone from Verizon. They make the people who have cars take other people around the city and they dont get reimbursed for any gas money from the company. The turnover rate is very high, every day you will see people that quit and every monday new people would start. If you have a University degree I would highly recommend you to ignore SlightEdge, it will be a waste of your time.

To whom this may concern. Thank you for your response. We are always trying to take steps to improve as a company. We are not sure when you worked here because we have not represented Verizon in that capacity for over 18 months. We took feedback from current and past employees and changed our marketing and sales approach to improve and have a better work environment for everyone. With that being said, again, we have not worked in a residential capacity for over 18 months and are no longer working in the telecom field. If there is something more specific you'd like to address with management, please call our offices. We hope you're well.

Pros

I have learned a lot of transferable skills that have helped me personally and professionally. It’s a great place to start growing your skill set but also a great company to grow within. The people that work there are also incredible and provide a positive and an inclusive environment for everyone. I have had the best time working with this team and I am thankful that I have this opportunity to learn and grow with this company.

Cons

I don’t have anything really to say on this.

Pros

You get to work at Walmart selling electricity no one wants for 8 hours.

Cons

You have to use your own vehicle, you don’t get reimbursed for gas. There are a lot of “company activities” that are mandatory and that occur multiple times a week you don’t get compensated for. You will have no time for friends or family. If you do manage to make sales and make a lot they make excuses to not pay you your full check.
