Pros
I am on a finance operations for Slower. We have over 700 in our organization; we have an employee handbook, and, yes, customer obsession is the most important to the company. If you are not delivering, you shouldn't get your bonus. Our headquarters is in Connecticut, where I have 80 to 100 that come into the office 2 days a week. We have gone hybrid by choice; most people here at the corporate office are in operations and project management. Our GM has 12 direct reports and is growing rapidly. I love my work; people understand their mission, focus, and how it helps Slower drive to its mission. I am often challenged to be creative and deliver on new efficiencies to help drive down our costs, where the savings are passed on to the customer.
Cons
As someone in finance operations, I only sometimes have the opportunity to see the fantastic projects our engineers deliver on. We all want to see more of the great work.
