The company mission is positive, but unfortunately, the founders have lost sight of their reason for being. I think they started out for the right reasons, but they have let it all go to their heads. They are egotistical, stubborn, and arrogant and unwilling to engage with their staff, who actually know what they are doing and could really help to improve things, if they were empowered to do so. Managers don’t have any autonomy and the founders are involved at the micro level….they don’t know how to cascade their vision so that managers can make decisions. It’s kind of sad. This could be a great place otherwise. No processes and always changing direction makes for chaotic days. Too many meetings where nothing is accomplished. Recently almost half the staff was let go without regard or care—totally opposite to the company’s commitment of social-emotional wellness.
