Exactly. Management insinuates that you could make 6 figures (a typical ploy to anyone's greedy nature). But closing deals is a rarity. There are four senior reps who "own every big company" and you'll be splitting those commissions. For instance all the wireless carriers, banks, whatever. They're already someone's account. So you're expected to hunt for new leads. Good luck.
That's the other problem. They'll tell you that 3000 people are expected to show up in Phoenix (only 350 did). In other words, the small insurance, law, accounting offices that are exhibiting - ain't coming back. Another thing you can "sell" is a workshop. Their Atlanta Show (when I left) didn't have a single workshop sold so they're giving them away.
I wasted a little over a month on this company when I finally got fed up for personnel reasons I won't go into.
