Dysfunctional company - Assistant Manager SmartStop Self Storage Employee Review

Micromanaged to death. No budget for facility maintenance projects. Unfair treatment of tenants. Programs used are terrible and do not communicate with each other. Only worried about numbers. Very high turn over rate. Corporate managers have no understanding of store level work and needs, most don't even have storage background. They do everything a** backwards. Incompetence is astounding. We shouldn't have to stand at the ATM with a bag full of cash to deposit either. You force us to be targets for criminals by doing that.
