Pros
Many of the non-managerial staff are great people to work with. I specifically want to call out Ricardo for being genuinely invested in the employees. The high-pressure environment creates good bonds amongst coworkers. Our field service gets great training, just no one else. Convenient location off 95. The facility is generally nice.
Cons
Where to start. I have yet to talk to someone who isn't overwhelmingly stressed despite the business doing well. Part of that is because everyone seems to be doing the job of multiple people because they keep cutting people and not replacing them but splitting their duties. Everything seems to be a priority which means nothing is a priority. If you see a job that says "other duties as assigned", run because you're going to be doing more than just what the job title would do at other companies. Management/HR has no interest in training and development. They pay lip-service to internal moves but they think if something isn't working after 6-12 months, they'll just fire them and start again. And then they can't figure out why attrition is so absurdly high, people aren't in their role long enough to be able to really do well. I would not be surprised if 50% of people were gone after a year and a half. It feels like every job we have requires someone with a ton of experience to come in and already be an expert at the job, but those people come in and move on quickly for much better pay and less stress somewhere else. Some of these VPs and Directors are incredibly rude, don't work well with other departments, and are rarely on-site yet we're expected to be in 3+ days a week. Some aren't even qualified to manage people. Our President is only here once a month, and even then he's rarely seen.
