Pros

- Hands’ on leadership team - CEO will listen to any suggestion and personally follow up if it is genuinely going to improve things - “Move fast, break stuff” is a real thing here - Retailer orientated - Work hard but a few times a year you get together with your team and wider company and play hard (axe throwing, team building, escape rooms, drink and dancing, loads of food… social committee does well with budget!) - Pay IS competitive despite what some reviews say here - For the most part, teams put differences aside to get stuff done across different parts of business. - Friday shout outs - Snappy awards - Surveys and feedback by leaders to see what more could be done - Focus on the end goal

Cons

- When people leave as people do in startups, it hurts on all sides. Shedding skin is a byproduct of it not being the same place it was a few years ago. Heavy focus on performance and this isn’t for everyone. - we’re learning as we go, strategy keeps changing until we know what works, means some people can’t do new jobs and that can cause internal pain when change happens - largely desk job roles are still distributed which means mainly remote work but sounds like a second office is opening soon. - lean in chapter set up offers peer support unrivalled by line management alone - if you put in the effort and get actual results (GMV or anything that unlocks GMV and growth) then you get rewarded; leadership team has diversified over the years with key hires across the layers to drive teams through strategy, change and fast paced life at Snappy.

Pros

Great if you're in Scottish postcode, and one of the chosen few

Cons

Constant redundancies yo the people that actually bring the money in. The executive team is like a private members club with no sense of reality and fairness and really don't care about you if you're not in the club Do not trust the management here. Great with words that big themselves and the company but in reality growth is stagnant, its all smoke and mirrors or in other words, lies. Time management is ridiculous. Too many meetings where nothing is achieved, whilst the executives are plotting their next dramatic u-turn and next round of redundancies. Avoid at all cost, do not trust them You'll be there 2 years maximum then dumped, no matter how successful you've been in your role. Executives
