Soar Autism Center Response
1yThank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We deeply value your input and recognize the importance of addressing the concerns you've raised.
We adhere to Colorado's labor laws regarding breaks and meal periods. However, we understand the challenges that can arise with scheduling and transitions, which may make it difficult for Behavior Technicians to take full breaks. We are actively reviewing our processes to ensure all team members have sufficient and uninterrupted break times. Your feedback helps us prioritize this area for improvement.
We also acknowledge that scheduling can be complex due to shifts in client and employee availability, including last-minute callouts. In such cases, we aim to provide coverage sessions or assign other in-center tasks to minimize disruptions. That said, we understand this can feel frustrating and are working to enhance our scheduling systems to promote greater consistency and reduce last-minute changes. We hope these efforts are beginning to address the concerns you've experienced.
Writing session notes during therapy is a standard practice across the industry. We know this can be particularly challenging when working with high-needs clients. We are evaluating ways to ensure our team members have the necessary support to complete their notes efficiently and sustainably during their paid time. Additionally, your comments about unpaid time are concerning, and we will review our practices to ensure fairness in compensating our employees for their time and effort.
We are committed to continuous improvement and ensuring that all team members feel valued and supported in their roles. Your feedback is an important part of that process, and we truly appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with us.
Thank you for the important work you do every day to make a difference in the lives of the children and families we serve.
