Pros
Meaningful camaraderie among coworkers, formed out of necessity in a workplace defined by toxic leadership and unhealthy culture
Cons
This company was the most toxic, destabilizing, and harmful experience of my career. Nearly everyone I worked with experienced intimidation, manipulation, or discriminatory treatment. The CEO cultivates a public persona of spiritual enlightenment and compassion, but in reality his behavior is controlling, manipulative, deeply inappropriate for a leader, and frequently that of a bully. Employees were subjected to constant pressure, intrusive demands, and conversations designed to pit people against each other. Speaking negatively about coworkers was explicitly encouraged as a way to prove loyalty and earn advancement. This was not isolated - it was a repeated pattern that shaped the culture from the top down. The environment is psychologically unsafe. People were belittled, humiliated, and pushed to emotional breaking points. Several employees documented their experiences, filed internal complaints, or sought legal counsel as a result. Many left not because of performance, but because their mental, emotional, and in multiple cases physical health deteriorated under the conditions created by leadership. It is not an exaggeration to say that many talented people left for the sake of their health. Turnover is sky high for a reason. High performing, dedicated people were fired abruptly, forced out, or pressured to resign after prolonged mistreatment. The company has a history of wrongful termination, and employees have reported harassment and abusive conduct. For years, leadership has ignored the systemic problems entirely, repeatedly promoting individuals whose behavior drove the bullying, and silencing criticism through firings, restrictive severance agreements, and retaliation tactics. Employees have declined severance to retain their right to speak honestly about their experience. Anyone considering joining should take these warnings seriously. Speak directly with MULTIPLE former employees - you will hear the same stories again and again. This is not a safe or supportive workplace, and the harm it causes is real.
