Pros

Once you are in the company, you will find plenty of people to share your misery with.

Cons

Where to begin? 1. Hire and fire culture - Just take a look at the frequency with which they put out job listings on LinkedIn, Naukri etc. 2. Lack of senior management - No surprise given how employees are treated at this company. 3. Inexperienced leadership - Egoistic and unskilled, with little to no clarity in vision or basic people skills. 4. Zero direction - It's great to have goals, but where is your roadmap? 5. Aggressive micromanagement - Company leaders don't trust employees to do the job they have been recruited for. Micromanagement limits your scope of work. 6. The CEO - It is one thing to not have good communication skills, but completely another to not have any empathy. CEO thinks he can do your job better than you and believes he is doing you a favour by paying you your salary. All in all, I have worked for fledgling startups with twenty-something year old CEOs who run companies better and bring in actual profit. SocialPilot has been operational for a decade now, but has failed to leave a mark really, as a company to look out for. The founders need to introspect why, if they want the organization to succeed.

Pros

I think this is an awesome company based on working there for multiple years. It is very evident that the co-founders have a clearly defined vision of their company and a very deep understanding of the industry they are in. One thing that I really enjoyed during my tenure at SocialPilot was the ability to take ownership of successes (!!!) and failures - this made me a better leader! The transparent communication with co-founders and HR made my stay at SocialPilot an enjoyable one. I felt I could learn things faster and make my impact shown across the org in a very timely and effective manner. The teammates and the culture here are overall pretty cool. The team is results-driven and not much micro-management happening here. Help is always available and blockers are removed timely by upper management. The competitive salary, yearly appraisals, & remote work definitely helped me out during last few years

Cons

I am trying to think of some - will definitely update this section soon. Every great company is built on understanding its shortcomings.
