Pros

1. Car policy of the company is good, but I hope it's in most Dutch/European IT companies where travel is more.

Cons

1. Management has no vision but just commission from the billing of hard working resources in high tech business line. 2. Lots of unnecessary overhead of managers and sales person who absolutely are non-productive and have no relevant experiences. 3. Firing of employees are common, that too when it’s failures of sales team. Managers in High Tech business line have no expertise in any area, in fact they too are not happy and keep complaining and criticizing senior management. 4. No in-house projects for High Tech developments, it’s basically a staffing company. 5. Preference and choices of engineers have no values. Developers hired may be forced for testing or vice-versa. 6. Very poor multi-cultural experience. Racist comments from one of High Tech managers was very demotivating, and actually it represented the complete management ways of thinking. 7. Lots of engineers are hired on contract from India or eastern Europe and they are seriously mal-treated, as a result lots of them leave company voluntarily. As a result it hampers the healthy working atmosphere. 8. Even local Dutch employees are not taken well care of, just average.

Pros

Great mentorship, great career development such as trainings, certifications, education reimbursement. It is a good place to expand your skills and managers will step in and help you understand how to navigate tricky situations especially when clients are difficult.

Cons

Low pay. They tell potential hires about "the bench" and how you can still get bench pay when you're not billing at a client while they look for your next opportunity. Increasingly, they lay people off, sometimes after only a few days or right as you hit the bench. Often ask you to work beyond normal 8-5 contracting hours to contribute to the company after a full day of billable work or doing additional trainings on your own time (nights, weekends, using your own PTO). Quite often they paint a rosy picture during monthly internal updates, so you think you're on track for your full bonus payout and then when the year closes, they say other offices didn't make their numbers so our bonuses are lower.
