Cons
Large number of portfolio companies with relatively small amount of invested fund per company. Most of them are engaged in sofware and application development with limited track record particularly in sales. These start-up firms have rather high cash-burn rate and get in liquidity trap very soon without seeking further funding in time. The result is high rate of going bankrupt very fast. This high rate of failure can be rather frustrating for portfolio managers.
