Pros
Half day Fridays was a scheduling perk.
Cons
The job description that was explained to me changed when I was hired. It was not the job I was expecting. Did not have the tools needed to do the job successfully. At one point, I was told "just figure it out or leave" One of the women that worked there was very rude. It took her over a month to give me the client files I was to be working on for social media, she was also suppose to go over each client profile with me but she was always too busy. When asking her about the client file she would bark at me. She is probably one of the rudest employees in the office, but the president seems to covet her. So for the longest time I just sat at my cubicle trying to find something to do. Everyone else was really nice. Several times a week there are last minute staff meetings that last 2 hours where he just goes on about how great his business is and all the money he is making. Communication was poor. The whole experience felt very awkward. There are clicks, and if you don't fit in, you can always hang with the coders, because they are cool. You will sit at a desk 8 hours a day 5 days a week. Work hours are 7:30 to 5:30 PM It was a salaried position. You get to leave early on Friday. There were a couple of times we did not get paid on time because the pres. was out town and there was no one else to authorize check writing at the office. There just seems to be a lot of disorganization and negative energy there.
