Pros
Plenty of opportunities for overtime, especially if you cover someone’s shift. The majority of the people are nice and I remain friends with many of them. I enjoyed talking to everyone, even those I’ve lost touch with.
Cons
Was not consistent at approving your time off in a timely manner. Sometimes they would wait until the day before to approve it, then only approve it if the department was on top of everything. I understand the company is the priority, but be respectful of the employee’s accrued paid time off as well. Pay isn’t that high compared to other jobs. Hard to get more than a dollar raise. Most years it’s just 50 cents.
