Pros

The only thing worth noting about SB is they do have quality employees. They have some great hires that are very hard workers and I'd be happy to work with (well, some of them anyways) anywhere else. They will give you a somewhat nice welcome. Planter, welcome chocolate kit, card. That's it...seriously. Sometimes the positive reviews, seem eerily similar to things I heard in management meetings that makes we wonder there authenticity. (AKA I think they're fake.)

Cons

You get paid once a month, by check, and is handed out by hand, as close to 5:00p the last working day of the month. Likely, you won't make enough money for a limit on your electronic deposit to matter, but if you do, you have to go to the bank to deposit your check the next day, and wait a following day for it to deposit. No direct deposit options. No biweekly pay options. Why? It was voted on...by who? Your guess is as good as mine. Never once found someone is said vote. Say you take the day off on the last day of the month...then you'll get your paycheck the next time you're back at work. EVERYONE must clock in/out...with a punch clock. Your time is tallied and reviewed by hand. If you are 5 minutes late, it's noted. Salary...yup, still must clock in. Also, it's a 45 minimum work week, 9-6, 1/2 hr lunch. No exceptions. Hourly, is 10-6, 1/2 hr lunch. No exceptions. I recommend bringing your lunch. It's in LaGrange, there are no options besides McDonald's, Subway, or a local grocery store. But you'll be hard pressed to do any of that in 1/2 hr, especially if there is a train. Wife and husband own the company, and they fight frequently. It makes things very uncomfortable...very uncomfortable. Oh - also last know, 2/3 kids are on payroll...ask what their roles are. Very few holidays off....expect to work Memorial Day, Labor Day, July 4th, etc. You have to work the day before and after to get holiday pay. Don't expect the CEO/COO/Controller to be there though. They are a small business for a reason, they'll never hire above 50 ppl because 1/2 of the policies/HR practices would break the law. Read the handbook before getting hired. If you find anything fishy, think about it, because it infrequently changes, and is enforced. If you are considering an IT, ask questions. They are not an IT company, they are a reseller. I would recommend asking about their IT services they sell, and read a BBB review or two. You'll work in a cubicle, you can't work from home, and yes, you still have to punch in and out 9-6. You get a full day off, or a 1/2 day off. No exceptions. If you have a 9am appointment and can arrive by 10am, don't bother. It's still a 1/2 day off. Also, nothing is around LaGrange, so it's not the easiest to plan for appointments before or after work since you work 9-6, no matter what. The average tenure is no where close to 8 years. That is a lie. The turnover rate is extremely high. The only reason the tenure is a bit higher, is because it's under 50 employees, and a few employees have been there forever. You'll find out who those people are very quickly. I'm not paranoid when I say your computer and phone lines can be and will be viewed or monitored. Most employees know that by now, and you'll find the work arounds fairly quickly. When you're offered a position for product specialist or CSR and the CEO tells you to watch out for certain people, take that as a red flag, against the CEO. Do the math on your benefits and salary. Maybe they offer you a slightly higher salary, but chances are you'll lose all that money paying for healthcare, since they only pay 25% of the employee portion. It takes awhile to meet or get to know people, it's not you. I promise.

Pros

Great people to work with, upon hire I immediately noticed a culture that was very positive where everyone's opinion mattered. Room to grow as the company continues to grow. The company is big on promoting training to support this growth.

Cons

I haven't seen any yet.

Pros

I've had a great experience working at Spacebound so far. The company provides an environment where learning and growth are encouraged, and I feel like there is plenty of room to advance in my career. The people who work here seem genuinely happy, and that positive atmosphere makes for an enjoyable work environment. One of the standout reasons why I enjoy working at Spacebound is the leadership and management. The leadership team is approachable and supportive, and the management is truly one of the main reasons I choose to stay. They are attentive, understanding, and foster a culture of trust and respect. Additionally, the compensation is competitive, falling on the higher end for the industry, and the company offers flexibility when I need it, which has been incredibly valuable in maintaining a work-life balance. Overall, I highly recommend Spacebound to anyone looking for a company where you can grow, feel valued, and work with a great team of people.

Cons

Some positions aren't as flexible with time off b/c of contracts the company has.
