Pros

I was pleasantly surprised by how much I’ve enjoyed working at Specialty Restaurants over the past three months. From day one, everyone has been incredibly welcoming and supportive. The tools and resources provided by the company have set me up for real success, and I’ve already seen great results in my role. The management and marketing teams are especially impressive — responsive, knowledgeable, and truly invested in your growth. It's clear that leadership values both their employees and their guests, which makes a big difference in the work environment. Accepting this position was absolutely the right decision for me, and I’m excited to continue growing with the company.

Cons

The only real challenge is that we don’t have much indoor event space for the hotter summer months. Most events are held on the beach or covered deck, with the main indoor option being the restaurant itself. I’d love to see more indoor flexibility in the future, especially during peak heat. That said, I’m very happy I accepted this position, and I’m excited to continue building my career here!

Big Company, Nice Restaurants, Nice views, long standing company

Cons

Management is terrible, Big Egos, Major Boss/God Complex, no corporate oversite. literally can't count how many GMs and Regionals we have had. Just keep firing and hiring. This restaurant is a mess. Everyone is being blamed except the managers. And they are the problem.
