Pros

Spectrum provides healthcare for vulnerable, marginalised communities and is very values-led as an organisation which is a real positive; most people are friendly and easy to work with.

Cons

The job is very much "what you make it" - the working culture is very static and not really diverse (overwhelming white and female) with very limited opportunities for progression even if you do access training and CPD. There is a real disconnect between the corporate side of the business and the front-facing healthcare teams, and the same challenges crop up over and over with no real solution. Some staff have stayed a long time and become visibly bored / unproductive but nobody seems to acknowledge that and it can really slow things down.

Pros

The company appreciates the workers by giving them free items or chances to work towards getting items based on a point system. Also when I was there they had an employee picnics and potlucks and during trainings the company would buy food. They had decent benefits and the company seems to be forever growing.

Cons

If time off is needed for alot of appts the supervisor may frown upon it.
