Pros
Free company services. TV Gold, base internet, home phone completely free. Add on boxes and services at minimal cost. Pretty flexible with scheduling for a call center, supervisors and leads are usually very supportive and always there ready to help. You meet a lot of great people in the call center.
Cons
Naturally working in a call center, it is only a matter of times before you lose your mind. The amount of incompetence you are forced to put up with talking to people is mentally taxing. I never thought working in a call center would be so hard. Do not underestimate this job, customers will wish death, cancer, literally the worst things upon you and your family because their internet isn’t working and it’s not even your fault. We have to sit there and listen to them. Upper management is disconnected from the rest of the building. They work in the same building as us and you hardly ever see them or hear from them. Their expectations show they are simply out of touch.
