Pros

I made lifelong friends. Fun Christmas party. Office shutdown for Christmas. You learn a lot because you're doing the job of 3 people. Brand recognition as a premier CPG company -- looks good on your resume. Nice office.

Cons

Someone in the C-suite MOONED me on my first day on the job. You need more? You have 3 guys running the place who have never had jobs before. They've never had a boss before and they don't know how to be a boss or a leader. This is a marketing company and they are very good at that, including marketing their "culture". Friends and family are hired and given inflated titles and salaries. Boys club mentality. Sexist remarks are rampant, including when a woman gets married or pregnant -- their concern is her impending "time off" for maternity leave and it drives decision making around promotions and opportunities for women. There's no training, your job description is fluid, working every night and weekend is not only expected but necessary to meet unrealistic expectations -- and because everyone does this, you have to as well even if just for optics' sake. HR is powerless and a joke - but make sure you report inappropriate behaviour and treatment just so it's documented. I'm surprised nobody has sued them for sexual harassment or discrimination (or maybe they have!). Pay is very low unless you're one of the "chosen ones" or being imported from the States. If you're a woman hired in a coordinator role, you're never getting promoted, so just get what you can out of this place and run!

Pros

My coworkers were the heart of the company. Excellent PTO and benefits.

Cons

Rely heavily on inventors and freelancers. No room to actually innovate and design. Management level was promoted based on office politics and not experience/success. Very cliquey in times where you question if someone was speaking behind your back, turns out they were.
