Pros
SMWW is a company that teaches you how to get your foot in the door in the competitive world of sports. If I didn't relieve a job offer closer to home I would still be working there as the staff is incredibly friendly and there isnt a nicer person in this world than Dr. Lynn Lashbrook. There is not another company out there that can provide the same services that SMWW does. For example, the SMWW NFL Gm & Scouting course is taught by NFL legends John Wooten (the "god father" of football), ESPN's and former Tampa Bay Buc's GM Mark Dominik, and former NFL Scout and current Montreal Allouettes head scout Russ Lande. I would recommend SMWW to anybody who is genuinely interested in the sports business, as they offer courses for just about any industry in sports. There is one thing to keep in mind though; SMWW does not guarantee you a job after finishing a course, instead it is more like a stepping stone on your path to finding a career in sports.
Cons
While I have basically nothing negative to say about SMWW, I do have 2 complaints. 1: The courses are peer reviewed by other students, as in you will get out what you put in. This also means that you will see people slacking (personally I think if you are willing to pay the money for the course and try to slack you are just cheating yourself) 2: the Agency is a work in progress, while it currently is not the money maker and not what as productive as the education side of things, they have the right people in place and are trending upwards. It wouldnt shock me one bit to see the SMWW Agency rebound, as it is a great opportunity for new agents trying to get into the business.
