Pros

Flexible dress code and ice cream for employee appreciate week, no bonuses just snacks!

Cons

Anti hybrid setting but they’ll expect you to be available 24/7. A lot of internal conflict and arguments between departments. Told to work together but more time is spent trying to prove to the higher ups that a department is failing. Office is pretty quiet, and cold. Downstairs is cozy but upstairs you can smell the men’s bathroom after it’s been used which is near the break area. Pretty much looks like a ghost town upstairs. You will work holidays! Your manager will be too busy to help or manage you because Spot expects too much out of them! Homeless people have made their way into the office many times and women have been followed to their cars and to the front door of Spot. Vandalism happens where you are expected to park and Spot takes no blame and won’t make changes. Lots of hot headed people. One of the managers for a pretty big customer has been seen yelling at many carrier sales members on the floor or through teams. And spot let’s that slide. Spot advertises team building activities and spot swag and a benefit. There really aren’t any “team activities” unless you get hired for a pod that has a manager who cares to work as a team. The spot swag given is about 1 shirt a year or you can pay for the expensive clothing on the online store. They don’t reward long term employee. Two year anniversary expect a 25 dollar gift card to St Elmo’s (where you can afford 1 drink with the gift card). 5 year anniversary is super exciting, you get to pick what gets catered for lunch for all employees. How exciting!! This company has a lot of work to do. At the end of the day, they hire cool people but don’t care to try to retain them. The turn around is insane which makes it hard to become successful here.

Pros

Excellent training and Development. I had been in the sales industry for 5 years and this is the best training and development I’ve received. Management is very relaxed, helpful, supportive and understanding.

Cons

In office all 5 days a week. Takes longer than most sales jobs to start making commission but is standard for the industry.

Pros

The office is in a good area of the city and building amenities are nice.

Cons

This company and the entirety of its management is completely unprofessional. Managers will only help you when it is convenient to them, miss scheduled meetings without notice, or be absent for weeks at a time. Manager turnover is high and you are left to figure things out for yourself a good majority of the time. There is no work from home option and they only provide 10 days of PTO and 0 sick days. Most people, management included, will come in sick to save their vacation days and get others sick in the process. The only time a work from home option was provided was when a former employee posed an extremely dangerous threat to the office and police had to guard the building. Even then, the option to work in office was available. Racism and sexism are prevalent throughout the company. Minorities are the first to be placed on performance improvement plans on tracks to be fired, while others with equal or even lower performance are not. Women are frequent targets of baseless accusations made by trainers and upper management, making it an incredibly hostile environment to work in.
